How much room is needed for a bounce house? What surfaces can the bounce house be set up on?You will need to provide a level area of about 15 x 20 with an overhead clearance of 18 feet for our units. Combination Units will require a space of 20 x 20 with an overhead clearance of 17 feet. Our units can be set up on any level surface such as grass, concrete, asphalt, dirt, and even indoor gymnasiums. Please specify which surface the bounce house will be setup on so we can provide the appropriate anchors. Do you set up in parks?Call us with your questions. A generator may need to be used as not all park locations have electricity. We do rent generators. You may use your own but it must be at least 2500 watts non-peak. Parks must be booked well in advance due to what is needed by us (insurance information) in order for us to deliver there. Give us the contact information at the park office, and will give them all that is need from us. Do you deliver and set up the bounce?Yes. We deliver, set up and take the unit away when the designated time has come. We also insure that the units are in good working condition as we test the units for safety after set up. What time do you deliver and pick-up the moon bounce? You decide on the specific rental time and we'll be there anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours before that for set up. We pick-up the unit after the party is over, but please allow up to 3 hours for pick-up. If an exact pick-up time is crucial, just let us know. Is there a delivery charge?Delivery may be free, but there are delivery charges that apply to certain towns. If you order online, the delivery fees will be shown. What kind of power is required? All units must be within 100 feet of an electrical outlet. Are moon bounces safe?Absolutely! As long as all the rules outlined on the operating procedures page of your rental contract are followed, and the unit is supervised at all times, they are very safe. What is the rental period? The rental period is normally 4 hours or 8 hours. We can also set up for an overnight occasion or a two-day rental; please call to discuss pricing and arrangements. Who will come and break down the bounce?Normally the same driver will come and break down the bounce house unit and the break down time is 20-30 minutes. Please do not release the unit to anyone else unless you receive specific instructions from the original driver. How long does it take to set up the bounce house? It takes about 20-30 minutes to set up the unit and review the safety guidelines with you. What are my responsibilities as the renter of the moon bounce?A responsible adult must be assigned to supervise the children while the unit is in use. The adult must know all the safety rules and also be the enforcer of these rules. The renter is responsible for the safety of the children and the care of the equipment. All rules are on the front of the moon bounce. The riders must be explained the rules before entering. What if it is rainy or windy? If the renter decides to cancel due to INCLEMENT WEATHER only, they may due so, between the hours of 7-8 AM the morning of the event. The deposit will be credited back to the payee with no penalty what-so-ever. Shall you decide to proceed with your order in such weather conditions, once the unit is delivered, there will be no refunds should the weather conditions consist of heavy rains or high winds. Fun Patrol, Inc. reserves the right to cancel a reservation due to heavy rains or high winds (over 25 mph). There is no penalty to the renter. We will call you on the morning of your party in this eventuality. When is payment due?A $50 deposit is required when booking and the final payment is due upon delivery. Please remember if you book a moonbounce that it is no longer availible to others then the completed rental is expected. Deposits are non-refundable unless due to inclement weather. The penalty for cancellation is $50, the amount of the deposit. Final payment in cash, personal check with ID, or money order is due at time of delivery. | |
